I love working out the light in my paintings. Sometimes I ignore the actual light, and shift the light source around to best create a stunning center of interest. Then, there is the anticipation of how the unpredicatable medium will present itself that excites me. Therefore my passion turns into an ongoing journey, pushing myself onward, working harder and dedicating myself to sharing my creations with others.

I am attracted to the Great Lakes and parks because of the diverse botanical life and lanscapes they so abundantly provide. I prefer plein air painting whenever possible, starting outdoors and often times finishing in my studio from photgraphs.

My home and studio are in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
