Kathleen Mulholland was born and raised in Wisconsin, and moved from coast to coast. She attended the University of Florida and University of Central Florida, where she received her B.F.A and M.A. degree respectively. She is a member of Florida Artists Group (FLAG), a professional juried organization, and exhibits throughout the state.

San Diego Art Institute (California) and The Mount Dora Center for the Arts (Florida) are included in her list of one-person shows. Work has been in juried exhibitions in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, California, and Florida. Her work can been seen in the Rachel Thompson Gallery in St. Agustine, Florida.
