Photo + graphy = painting with light.

There is beauty everywhere. Not only in a vista of the setting sun over a calm northern lake or in the fresh face of a child, but if you look hard enough you can see the reflection of blue sky, fluffy clouds and dark tree branches in a pickup truck window! I see beauty everywhere I turn and I feel compelled to capture it.

Were cavemen stirred by the splendor in flowers, rivers and rainbows to make their own art? Absolutely! Photography allows me to create works of beauty using Nature itself as my medium.
